Resumen: This article presents a WaveNet-IIR PID controller applied to Quanser two degree of freedom helicopter. The Wavenet-IIR is based on a radially based neural network with wavelet functions as function activactions. At the same time, a pair of infinite impulse response filters are used to prune some neuronal networks. Futhermore, an auto-tuning method is presented for PID controlles gains of the MIMO system. Finally, simulation results, using LabVIEW, are shown under different conditions.
