Resumen: A novel control strategy for the angular velocity of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is presented. The control law is designed using current and position measurements only. The desired velocity signal is obtained through a linear second-order filter. Additionally, a formal stability analysis of the closed-loop system comprised of the motor dynamics and the second-order filter is also presented.
