Resumen: This work proposes the design of an extended state observer to estimate the electrical angular position, angular velocity, and load torque of a surface permanent magnet synchronous motor. We propose a rotating mathematical model ($d$,$q$) modified to the observer design when exists an alignment error between the actual and estimated reference frame. From the study of the observer’s stability, we propose a methodology to estimate the electrical angular position of the rotor. Finally, we perform high-precision emulations to validate the theoretical results.
