Resumen: An observer-based control is designed using the feedback linearization strategy for blood glucose regulation using a model of the glucose-insulin system that represents a person with type 1 diabetes. The design of two nonlinear state observers are performed; a high-gain observer and a nonlinear observer for Lipschitz systems. The results of the estimated state variables are compared, as well as the control based on each of the observers and the action of the control law for insulin application.
