A Class of Observers for the Observable Part of Linear Systems with Commensurate Delays

Resumen: he present congress article deals with the observer design conditions for two particular classes of linear systems with commensurate delay. The first one is for systems with known inputs and the second one for systems affected by unknown inputs. The use of a Kalman-like decomposition is proposed, as well as the application of a Luenberger-like observer only for the observable part of the system decomposed. The conditions proposed for the observers are considered based on the definition of invariant factors of the original system.
