Resumen: The design of a power upconverter with low power consumption in a six metal layers, 180nm CMOS technology from UMC foundry is presented. The proposed circuit is highly linear, exhibiting an IIP3 of 13.55dBm, a conversion factor of -5.6dB, a consumption of 45.48uW and a 3GHz bandwidth ranging from 3GHz to 6GHz. These features make the proposal suitable for UWB-IR transmission.
