Resumen: In this article, a prototype for executing experiments in real-time and its use as a tool to improve Automatic Control courses is presented. The main components of the platform are an STM32F4 Discovery development kit made by STMicroelectronics, a LEGO servo motor, and an in/out board created at CINVESTAV. The code for the STM32F4 is programmed in a laptop using Matlab/Simulink or C++ software. The performance of the platform is measured by using the algorithm PID implemented in discrete and continuous time.
