Resumen: Robot control is an area where concepts from different science and engineering disciplines, that at first are difficult to associate, converge. To illustrate and integrate such concepts, functional experimental platforms with actualized software and hardware components are required. For this reason, in this work we present the reconditioning of a 5 DOF manipulator robot, out of service, manufactured in the nineties. Its rehabilitation process presents an excellent opportunity to illustrate the essential theoretical and practical knowledge in a first approach to learning the industrial manipulator robots control.
