Resumen: This paper deals with the design of a sliding mode observer allowing to estimate the state vector of a nonlinear dynamical cardiovascular system linearly unobservable. This state estimation is used for detecting faults to study the problem of cardiovascular anomalies that can originate from variations in physiological parameters and deviations in the performance of the hearts mitral and aortic valves.
