Resumen: This article presents a study on the stability analysis in Electrical Power Systems (EPS) in the presence of bounded non-linear loads. EPS has received much attention due to the emerging advances in power electronics now widely applied in industrial applications, which are highly affected by nonlinear loads influencing energy quality. The stability analysis uses the linearized model, based on the equilibrium points is evaluated according to the Lyapunov stability criteria and the bifurcation theory. The numerical results were obtained using Matlab, including the principal theorems associated with nonlinear systems stability, and validated with a single study case.
